In her painting Rumah Kampung, bright colors and smooth blends create a feeling of peace and togetherness. The artwork reflects the simple yet rich life in Malaysian villages, where community and nature are closely connected. Roshida’s work is more than just a picture—it’s a tribute to Malaysia’s culture and the warmth of rural living.
Zarina Abdullah is a Malaysian artist whose work reflects peace, strength, and love. Her Lotus Series uses the lotus flower as a symbol of calm and resilience, offering a sense of inner healing. As a mother, Zarina’s art is also inspired by the bond between mother and child. The pink torch ginger (bunga kantan) in her paintings represents warmth and the flavors of home, reminding her of her mother’s cooking. Nor Azlan Ahmad is a Malaysian contemporary artist, curator, and art educator with over 20 years of experience in the visual arts. As the founder of d’Arte Fren Colony (Artgeng) and NoAh Artspace, he has helped develop creative communities, support young artists, and organise impactful exhibitions across Malaysia and the region. His art focuses on Islamic Abstract Expressionism and Malay–Islamic abstraction, combining cultural heritage, spirituality, and contemporary visual language. Nor Azlan is also known for using Kayuliat, a unique medium made from wood dust, to create textured and expressive abstract works. Beyond his studio practice, he serves as a national trainer in visual arts education, mentoring students and promoting art as a tool for learning, identity, and community development. He has curated thousands of artworks for major exhibitions, including the Artgeng Online Exhibitions (AOE) and shows in Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. Nor Azlan believes art is a meaningful experience that reflects values, culture, and the human spirit.
Abu Sapian bin Jaafar, better known by his pen name Razali Jaafar, was born in Johor Bahru in 1962. He is an established comic artist and magazine cover illustrator who has contributed significantly to Malaysia’s illustration and visual storytelling scene. Razali Jaafar’s artistic approach centers on the concept of comics, using dynamic lines, expressive characters, and narrative-driven visuals. He creatively adapts these comic elements into his contemporary artworks, giving his pieces a distinct identity that blends popular culture with fine art. Through this fusion, he bridges the world of comic illustration and contemporary art, producing works that are engaging, relatable, and rich in visual energy.

Rosita continues to develop her craft through workshops, community projects, and collaborative art initiatives, championing a greener and more creative lifestyle through art.
Fakhrul Zaman is a Johor-based artist and activist known for his large, vibrant murals that blend environmental awareness with contemporary visual storytelling. His signature Rhino Art Series reimagines the rhinoceros as a symbol of strength, vulnerability, and ecological preservation. Working primarily with bold blues and greens, Fakhrul creates dynamic compositions that evoke the energy and spirit of the natural world. His murals and paintings often serve as public reminders of wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting endangered species. Beyond his artistic practice, Fakhrul is active in community art programmes and environmental outreach, collaborating with local organisations to inspire youth and raise awareness through creative expression.
